To & From Dublin Airport

Location
Dublin Airport is located to the north of Dublin City and is well connected to the major road networks around Dublin, in particular the M1 and M50. If you are arriving via the M50 please be aware of the toll charges. For information on how to pay the toll please click here.

Drop off / set down
Dublin Airport offers a number of designated set down areas for vehicles dropping passengers off at the airport. The main set down area is located on the raised platform outside departures which Area 13 offers a less congested option beside the short term car parks. It is important to note that these are set down areas only and waiting for passengers is not allowed and is strictly enforced.  Vehicles left unattended will be removed immediately.

Collecting passengers
Dublin Airport offers set pick up areas, but does offer a reduced 30 minute rate on the short term car park (€1.50).

Car Parking
Dublin Airport offers 3,600 short term car parking spaces and 14,400 long term car parking spaces. All car parking fees are paid at automatic pay stations before returning to your car. Regular bus services operate between the long term car parks and the arrivals hall.

By Bus & Coach
With no rail connection, the main mode of public transport in and out of Dublin Airport is by bus with over 700 bus and coaches servicing the airport daily. The main bus providers are: Dublin Bus, Airlink, Air Coach, Fly Bus and UrBus.

By Taxi
Passengers arriving at Dublin Airport by Taxi will be set down on the departures road directly outside the departures hall. Taxis are available from the taxi rank outside arrivals where there is an efficient queuing and organisation service. By Rail
There is currently no rail connection to Dublin Airport, but bus services are available from all the major train stations directly to Dublin Airport. For information about nationwide rail services visit the Irish Rail website.
