Thrifty Car Rental are delighted to announce their participation in the 2009 Four Peaks Challenge which is run annually by Focus Ireland. Thrifty Car Rental have taken part in this event previously in 2005 when 4 staff members stood up and took the challenge.
Focus Ireland aims to advance the right of people-out-of-home to live in a place they call home through quality services, research, and advocacy. Focus Ireland believes that every person has the right to a place they call home.
The Four Peaks Challenge
"The Four Peaks Challenge invites teams of between 3 and 5 walkers plus a minimum of two drivers per vehicle to climb the highest mountain in each of the four provinces over one weekend and raise a minimum of €4,500 in sponsorship to help people who are homeless. The Four Peaks Challenge for 2009 will be held on the weekend of Friday June 5th - Sunday June 7th 2009."
