Thrifty Car Rental in Ireland have just released a number of files ready for installation on all makes and models of GPS units. These files contain the Thrifty Car Rental locations throughout Ireland and petrol stations near and around their locations. This new facility will be very useful for anybody either picking up or dropping off a Thrifty car rental.
There are two files that make up each part of the GPS information, one with the data and a separate image which will display the Thrifty Car Rental Logo beside our locations or a petrol station symbol beside the petrol stations near the return depots:

To download the files, right click on the link and save select Save Target As... You can then use your GPS software to install the POIs (Points of Interest) onto your GPS device.
** Unfortunately most GPS devices do not support routing. To follow the Ring of Kerry route each waypoint will have to be selected from the menu.
*** The Four Peaks Challenge GPS file should be used in conjunction with the directions supplied by Focus Ireland.
