General Information about Renting a Car From Thrifty |
Thrifty Car Rental Ireland offers several options to people wishing to either rent a car in Northern Ireland, or bring their car rental into Northern Ireland. Unfortunately we do not offer the option to pick up a car rental in Northern Ireland at the moment but there are several other options available to our customers who wish to travel with their car rental in Northern Ireland.
Currently we offer the option of an additional insurance that will cover our car rental in N Ireland. This optional cover allows our cars to be brought into Northern Ireland. Many of our customers take this option if they plan to travel close to, but not into Northern Ireland for the added flexibility. It is also possible for our car rentals to be dropped off at Belfast International Airport for an additional charge of €136.20 per rental.
- Can I travel to Northern Ireland?
If travelling to Northern Ireland, there is an additional insurance fee per rental. Please see our Frequently Asked Questions for the exact amount. Vehicles may NOT be taken off the island of Ireland and must be returned in the Republic.
- Dropping Off A Car in Northern Ireland
Thrifty Car Rental don't currently offer a drop off facility in Belfast.
