- Dublin Bus
The main bus services to Dublin Airport are provided by Dublin Bus who offers both direct and indirect bus routes to Dublin City.
- Direct Routes
The direct routes, the 747 and 748 cost €6 one way and €10 return for an adult while a child ticket is €3 one way and €5 return. Both services are prepaid only and tickets can be purchased from both the Bus and Rail information desk and the Tourism information desk. Tickets can also be purchased from vending machines situated at the bus stop.
- 747: From Dublin Airport to O’Connell street and Busaras
- 748: From Dublin Airport to Heuston Station
The 747 buses run every 10 minutes from Monday to Saturday and between 15 and 20 minutes on Sundays depending on the time. - Indirect Routes
There are a range of indirect bus services that travel to and from Dublin Airport mid journey between their departure / destination point. Tickets can be bought on the bus but exact change is needed if you do not have a prepaid ticket. There is a limited capacity for luggage during busy periods. Please make sure to check the final bus departure point from Dublin Airport prior to your arrival as these bus services finish for the evening before some scheduled flight services.

Bus Eireann are the main public bus service in Ireland operating routes outside of the Dublin region.
