Thrifty Car and Van Rental Ireland Wins Best Customer Service Award
Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group recently announced that its Ireland franchise has won the 2010 Best Customer Service Award. This award is given to the branch that performs excellently in the field of customer support.
One franchise is chosen annually from Thrifty Car and Van Rental's franchises that has performed admirably in the field of customer service. Colm Menton and the Thrifty Car and Van Rental team have set the standard for everyone else to follow. It is a testament to the dedication and commitment to superior customer service of the Irish franchise that this award was won. The focus on customer service has allowed Thrifty Car and Van Rental continue to grow despite a challenging economic environment.
Thrifty Car and Van Rental in Ireland continually analyze feedback after each car rental from their customers. This feedback is studied to find ways to improve Thrifty's service to customers. No stone is left unturned in the search for excellence which is the major contributing factor to winning this award.
When giving the award, Richard Ault of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group (DTAG) had this to say:
"I am delighted to be able to award the Best Customer service award for ESSA 2010 to our Master licensee (Executive Trust) in Ireland". Colm Menton and Colm Brady have consistently put customer service at the heart of their operation. Frequent training, quality operational processes and front line empowerment are the key strategies that have delivered this level of excellent customer service at all our Irish locations. They have set the bar very high, but share their practices widely with other licensees, so helping the Dollar and Thrifty rent a car brands maintain the high levels of service expected of our customers."
This award is further justification of the continued hard work of Thrifty Car and Van Rental Ireland who are previous winners of International Team Owner regional Division and Regional Team Owner of the year. Colm Menton Chief Executive of Thrifty Car and Van Rental and Executive Trust commented "Our staff deserves great praise for this achievement. It can happen that service levels drop in hard times due to cutbacks and staff motivation but this is not the case with our team. It is largely due to our superior service levels that we have been able to maintain our business levels each year when passenger numbers have dropped by a third in the same period."
Looking forward to the future, Thrifty Car and Van Rental Ireland plans to continue building on their customer centric model. By taking in all feedback possible they aim to continue to improve on their award winning customer service. Even in these times of economic struggle, Thrifty Car and Van Rental believe customer service should not suffer and it is this that they base their car rental service. Thrifty Car and Van Rental also service the Dollar rent a car brand in Ireland.
